Dedicated to St. Clair Whitman, the first operator of the Cedar Key Museum, the Cedar Key Museum State Park features Mr. Whitman's collections of Timucuan Indian artifacts, antique glassware and sea shells. Mr. Whitman's house is also on-site, and limited tours are available.
This preserve is 32,128 acres in size and is located between Cedar Key and Yankeetown, FL. There are many salt marshes, wooded islands and tidal creeks in this park, making it an outdoor lover's Eden. Open from 8am to sunset 365 days a year.
